I stumbled onto Paloma’s Nest this weekend and I still love it. So pure and simple and now several other options that I think could make amazing details for a wedding. I adore the LUCKY bowl but now ornaments, napkins, cufflinks – all so sweet.

Aren’t they amazing? AND don’t they make it super easy to picture yourself walking in it? Check them all out here. A few above and below. Genius!

Black lace (or tulle) – a soft but edgy touch of rock-n-roll. I have to say the headpieces and veils are stunning. Do it. Be brave.

Monograms or initials used in thoughtful details – a signature from the first day of your life together that will  last forever… napkins, paper, a tag sewn into your dress with your initials to pass on as an heirloom… so lovely.

Fresh flowers make special occasions – we all agree on that right? And how many times in our lives do we get to wear them let alone just hold them. I love the idea of flowers EVERYWHERE on your wedding day but especially wearing them and in this instance around your neck. I can only imagine the possibilities and what an amazing sensory overload of smell and touch. You would have to feel beautiful yes?

Over the holidays we went to Jamaica and visited Rose Hall, a “haunted house” in Montego Bay built in the 1700′s… a gorgeous building with an incredible story. You can read the story here but the short version is Annie Palmer married John Palmer, a very weathly Jamaican. Annie murdered John, two other husbands and her slave lovers and is known as the “White Witch of Rose Hall.” Supposedly she haunts it and I think many Jamaicans believe that is true. Nonetheless, the grounds are fascinating and well worth investigating if you are thinking destination.
