The opening of “The Bacchae” by Elliot Hundley at the Nasher Sculpture Center was an event full of artists and art lovers, so we knew we had to clever with our flowers! We were influenced by the artists’ use of materials such as strings, shells, pins, cardboard, organic materials, and numerous other found objects and his assemblage of all of these pieces into one undulating mass. His work is amazing! Our focus was to complement his work with a floral Chandelier that stretched 10 feet across and floated above the guests heads creating an intimate party atmosphere. It was packed with tallandsia, orchids, banksia, protea, gloriosa lillies, tulips and a variety of unusual textures and blooms.
