Cake: Couple had a lavish dessert bar, the bride wanted a very simple, but beautiful, small, white cake. Maiya referred me to Lisa Copeland of the Austin Street Café, who has made many cakes for Marfa brides. For the wedding, she made a two-tiered classic pound cake with a schmear of tart apricot, and vanilla bean butter cream.

Rentals: Tables, chairs, and linens were from Ken’s Rentals out of Midland, Texas. The couple purchased the bar and glassware from a restaurant supply company. Maiya provided all the plates and dinnerware. They rented the mixed china for the dessert bar from Alicia Rico.
