Bows & Arrows created gorgeous florals that incorporated a touch of the unexpected in the painted gold log & vases filled with sequins and glitter. We kept the table setting clean and uncomplicated to allow the flowers to take center stage. Mostly white china and sleek flatware kept the functional elements of the tables cape streamlined. Sequin trim and gold ribbon, with a few scattered paillettes (penny-size sequins) added a layer of texture in lieu of a table linen or runner.
Southern Fried Paper brought in the element of surprise through a variety of paper details in unexpected ways. Chelsea and her team created the super-fun champagne bottle labels (don’t you love the ‘pop’ and ‘fizz’?!), the chevron envelope liners, and the finishing touch – an adorable ‘cue the confetti’ banner for the table centerpiece. Custom details like these will delight your guests and keep them talking throughout the event!
The key to executing a concept like this without going over the top is balancing the sparkle and glam with a place to rest the eye – the backdrop is simple, clean, and unfussy, which allows the gold details and lush florals to take centerstage. Identifying a common concept that can be woven throughout (in this case, the hint of gold and sequin) and the attention to detail in the smallest elements will make all the difference in the cohesiveness of the finished look.
