1, 2, 3…..25, 26, 27!! wow, 25 attendants in this old-school, traditional wedding party photo. now that’s a feat! Honestly, I don’t even know what got into me but but when I was thinking about what to post I happened upon a pillow of a camel and then the idea of camels at weddings popped into my head my head. I quickly recalled my friend Libby’s wedding (which is blow your mind amazing and I promise to share with you all soon) and off I went… riding into the marital sunset on none other than….a camel. Tell me you do not love these photos. Most of them are in exotic locations except the bride getting kissed on the nose which is in Georgia of all places!! Enjoy thinking outside the box for a moment.

xo,
This wedding took place at the mid-century modern Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway Estate in Palm Springs, CA! We love all the vintage mod details: her dress, the cake topper, and look at those corsages! Shot by the super talented Yuna Leonard (www.yunaleonard.com)

On a recent visit to Florida I happened upon the Dali Wishing Tree. I have seen “wedding” wishing trees before and they can be lovely but are much smaller in scale and not at all like this one. It’s magnificent in size, scale, color, movement and number of wishes/people who have made wishes. Wishing trees are centuries old in theory and in many countries they are a much larger installation. Just a little fun thought for you to make an amazing impact, experience and photo moment if there are any large tree opportunities at your soirée.
Photo booths are always a huge hit at weddings. But did you know the customization options are almost endless?! Check out these awesome backdrops and props!
My favorite is a glitzy sequin backdrop that you can diy or purchase ready made from Drop it Modern.
I love the interactive chalkboard background. And how adorable is this faux wall with the frames?
playful. colorful. wild.

Brides…and grooms, as we approach the summer we must push for popping color before the fall takes it away. And if you want to make your photographer swoon, throw color at every detail in your wedding. It makes for the most lively images!
