how fun is this? Stop motion videos of your special day, save the date or engagement. A short, sweet and a lighthearted way to share this time in your life with friends and family. Stop motion (also known as stop frame) is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. Super cute.

to tulle or not to tulle

March 5th, 2012 | Posted by Hello Love in Style - (1 Comments)

Tulle. It’s simple, lovely, inexpensive (well, I guess that depends on where you find it), easy to work with and full of insanely gorgeous texture. Today I’ve pulled dresses for you but it can be dresses, handbags, veils, DIY lights, you name it, you can do it. So think outside the old fashioned tulle box – puleaze. There’s so much more there than you bargained for.

made for marfa

February 27th, 2012 | Posted by Hello Love in Style - (5 Comments)

I have to be honest here. This is going to come as a shock but I have NEVER been to Marfa. It’s a hole in my Texas Travel education and honestly my heart aches a little every time I think about it. I’m going. This year. I’m an artist and a Texan through and through (we’re quite proud). I envision Marfa as the perfect place to soak up true wonderful artful peace (almost like Santa Fe) in a beautiful Texas setting under the stars – I was made to go to Marfa. And I haven’t been. Shameful. That said, in the spirit of Marfa week I’m filling you in on my ideal Marfa vacay. Lucky for me almost every friend I have HAS been there so I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on the scoop but always open for suggestions!

See the info after the jump. Marfa 2012. You heard it here first.

It’s so beautiful isn’t it? I mean, doilies… they are still lovely and you can do so much with lace and doilies. DIY all day long. Yes, it’s old school but it’s grace is forever stunning…

one word. tablet.

February 17th, 2012 | Posted by Hello Love in Style - (Comments Off)

Tablet. That’s all you have to remember when it comes to finding a hotel for your honeymoon. SURE there are plenty of hotels not on Tablet. but if you like boutique, designer, incredible hotels (and who doesn’t?) this is the place to go. You can narrow your search by city, size, interest, country, activities – yes, romance is one of them. And so is unusual — lucky you.

light as a feather

Feathers are so soft and sweet and can be used in gorgeous unusual ways as an invitation or a hairpiece or even on your shoes. Tons of inspiration this week around these delicate little treasures. I love the idea of an indian headdress over a typical head piece for a bride.
