Frida Kahlo is a symbol of beauty, creativity, and strength and infamous for her emblematic self portraits. She inspires my work with flowers and head pieces more specifically. Since we are celebrating a week of Cinco de Mayo,  here on the blog, I decided to  treat myself to a Frida-esque make-over!  I rounded up one of my good friends and fellow florist Nicole Hammontree with The Wooly Thistle to help me create a few master pieces.

Succulents have a unique beauty all their own, and when paired with pretty blooms there is no stopping them! They are seen in ceremony decor, centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and used as favors.
