The New York City flower market is packed full of gorgeous, unusual, fragrant lovelies! It is a wonderful place to spend a weekday morning gathering inspiration and hustling around with other floral masters! Take a look behind the scenes at some of the best NYC wholesalers in the flower district!
The flowers are not from the flea market, but the bouquets are inspired from the objects next to them…belgian flea market finds! I always talk about taking inspiration from anywhere and everywhere….this is a perfect example!

This couple had fancy button boutonnieres made for the wedding party and every guest could pin one on as well! It is not just the buttons that are cute…take a look at her shoes, those pom poms, the cake topper, and that adorable gobo!

“It’s not often that I have the opportunity to go crazy with a look: Blemished grain, washed out contrast, gritty locations, flawed colors… While the things happening in front of the camera could have been interpreted in any way, I was more focused on peculiarity than the actual beauty of it. Add some awkward camera angles and Alicia Rico and you’ll have modern pop! The music choice is a Les Gams (French) cover of a non-hit single by The Exciters, He’s Got the Power–– A Le Truc!”
